North Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform. Communities Foundation of Texas, which organizes the event, describes the impact on their website: “The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like nothing else. In 2020, $58.8 million was raised through 106,000 donors benefiting over 3,200 local nonprofits, bringing the twelve-year total to over $375 million for our community. NTX Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.”

LIVE GENEROUSLY, GIVE JOYFULLY PRIZE

Are you passionate about a particular Arlington, Pantego or Dalworthington Gardens non-profit? Help us spread the word! Your non-profit can enter to win the Sociability “Live Generously, Give Joyfully” prize that we are pleased to offer in support of North Texas Giving Day 2021!

The winner of the “Live Generously, Give Joyfully” Prize Sponsored by Sociability will receive a promotional package worth $750, including:

  1. A two-hour consultation with the publisher and executive editor of Sociability to develop an original feature story strategy that helps build the organization’s brand and enhance its visibility. That feature story will be written by the Sociability team and will appear in an upcoming issue of Sociability (between December 2021 – April 2022).
  2. Free photoshoot at a location of the winner’s choosing (4-hour maximum).
  3. Free advertising in the Sociability e-newsletter that corresponds with the timing of the feature story.
  4. One month of free social media promotion that corresponds with the timing of the feature story to include three posts on Facebook, three posts on Instagram, and one post on LinkedIn.

Interested nonprofits in Arlington, Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens should apply here. The deadline to enter is Sept. 16, and the winning organization will be announced at the Arlington Gives! event at the Levitt Pavilion on Sept. 23.
